Music at St. Paul

Music is one of God’s greatest gifts and has been used as a means to recall God’s acts of mercy and grace and to praise and thank Him for His goodness. At St. Paul we treasure the rich heritage of Lutheran worship in both hymnody and liturgy.

To enrich the Divine Service and to teach the faith through song to our children, St. Paul offers a number of adult, youth and children's choirs.

Senior Choir:  All St. Paul members are invited to participate in this choir that sings at least two Sundays every month and at special midweek services. Senior Choir rehearses Wednesdays at 7 PM through the school year.

Senior Handbell Choir: All St. Paul members are welcome to join the Handbell Choir. They practice weekly and play once a month in worship during the school year. Senior Handbell Choir rehearses Wednesdays at 6 PM through the school year.

Junior Choir:  Sunday School children in middle and upper elementary grades sing in the Junior Choir. Practice is every Sunday during the Sunday School hour. The choir sings once a month.

Choristers: This youth choir is a specialized group of children in 3rd – 12th grade that learn to read sheet music and sing harmonizing parts.  This group meets on Sunday afternoons at 1:15 PM.

Junior Handbell Choir:  This youth handbell choir is for middle and upper elementary students who want to learn how to play handbells. They play in worship seasonally. This group meets on Sunday afternoons at 1:45 PM.
