The Second Coming Window

      Our Christian hope culminates with the second coming of Christ when all the dead will be raised and all believers will dwell in body and soul with our Lord in eternal glory. Christ will come at the trumpet call of God surrounded by the angels. This window portrays the brilliance and joy of Christ’s coming.

      At the bottom of the window are believers who anxiously await Christ’s return. As those who have been called to faith by the power of the Holy Spirit and strengthened in that faith through the means of grace, we can be certain that when Christ comes again, He will take us to dwell with Him forever.

      The top medallion is the crown with a scepter, symbolizing that the risen and ascended Christ is both King of kings and Lord of lords. The window also connects with the Nativity window in that the Alpha and Omega are included again. Jesus is without beginning or end. We believe that we will live forever with our gracious and glorious Savior.
